I think it would make a great name for a son.

I think it’s too masculine. Sorry.

No offense, but do you really want an answer to this? The vast majority of respondents to your last couple of polls made it pretty clear that most of us dislike Aiden for a girl. If you want to use it, it’s your choice, but don’t ask our opinions if you don’t want them.

If you are going to name her Aiden please change the spelling to Ayden. Or maybe name her Audyn. I’d prefer Audyn over Aiden for a girl.

If affirmation is what you’re looking for - you have it here. I like it for a girl, though you may want to go with Ayden like Alexa suggested.

Maybe you should just save the name for your next kid and hopefully ot will be a boy

Why do people have to name their daughters using boys’ names? It doesn’t make your daughter strong and equal, it makes it look like the parents can’t tell the difference between a boy and a girl and it will confuse all of her teachers. As a teacher, it is very frustrating to look at the class list and not know which are boys and which are girls. I think it’s great that you want to honor your grandfather with Rae, but you really need to find a different first name. What about Audrey Rae or Aubrey Rae? Other similar names would be Adelaide, Adelle, Adrienne, Adriana...like any?

I think the spelling Aedyn is better for a girl.

I think if you are going to use it for a girl I would not use a creative spelling. She will already have people confusing her for a boy, having to also spell it for people all the time would be even worse, imo. I like pp suggestions of Adelaide, Adele, and Audrey. I also like Ada. Ada Rae would be so pretty.

I agree with most of them... Aiden is a boys name for a reason. Please don’t ruin aiden. For a son I love the name aiden... But not a girl. Sorry

Aiden is NOT appropriate for a girls name. I could just imagine this senario (and many more):

Aiden starts school and is approached by fellow students Isabelle and Madeline.
Isabelle asks Aiden, "Are you a boy or a girl?"
Aiden, a little insulted replies "I’m a girl!"
Madeline says "No your not, you have a boys name!"
Aiden is getting teary now, "No, its a girls name!"
Isabelle replies "It is not! My brother is named Aiden and he is a boy."
"And there are two boys named Aiden in our cl[removed]o its a boys name!" adds Madeline.
Aiden goes home from school feeling very upset, self conscience and unfeminine. She demands to know why on Earth you called her a boys name.

I agree that Aiden is not suitable for a girls name for all of the reasons listed above.
There are plently of beautiful feminine names out there, I suggest you keep looking :-)

Best of luck!

I was considering Aiden for my son, but if it is heading for the same path as Hayden and Reese I might reconsider!
