Mitzi vs. ? vs. Janie

Have you heard of the name Mitzi before? There was a temp in my office last week, and at first at I thought it was just a nick name..But her name was Mitzi. It’s kind of grown on me. I’m just a few month pregnant, so I don’t know what I’m having yet..But I thought, should I consider Mitzi if it’s girl? I also like Janie.

I looooove the name Mitzi, but I can’t see it on a person. I like it more for dogs, lol.

Mitzi is a poddle name, and not even a creative one. It is a lot like Rex, Fido, Buffy...it won’t age well or be taken seriously AT ALL on a person, sorry!

I don’t like it on a person. I agree it would be a great dog name, sorry.

Janie is cute but I prefer Jane, Jayna, or Janine and then use the nn Janie.

I have to agree, Mitzi is a dog name. Janie is a cute nn, but not a full name on it’s own.

Mitzi is my cousins name and it fits her. Her middle name Ann

I did not know it was a dog name, I guess because I grew up with a Mitzi she loved her name.

I went to school with a girl named Mitzi, so my first exposure to this name is as a person’s name BUT I now have a friend with a fluffy lap dog named Mitzi, and think it suits the dog much better than the person. Sorry!

Never met a dog named Mitzi, but I knew a few girls named Mitzi way back in school (they would all be in their 30’s now). I think it’s cute.
