Lucy vs. Like vs. Dislike
I really love the name Lucy and want to name my daughter this but ive been told by more than one person that they think of it as only a name for a dog. This worries me so ive started to doubt the name. What is your honest opinoin on the name Lucy? Thanks!

I love the name Lucy. I don’t think it’s a "dog name". It’s cute and very pretty. I’ve known several Lucy’s and they never got made fun of. If you love it, go for it!
I have known at least two dogs named Lucy, but that wouldn’t worry me.
Lucy does remind me of Lucifer though which is not good.

I love Lucy! (ha).. but really. It’s a great name and if you love it, you shouldn’t hold back! and don’t let your baby to be know that you’re unsure or worried about it!

I know several little babies with this name. It is making a come back. People name their dogs all sorts of things. I know several dogs named Bella, Hailey, and Riley...all popular names. Don’t worry about it. If you Love Lucy....you should use it!

Sorry, but my best friend has a potbellied pig named Lucy, so I can’t help but think of piggies when I hear it :(

I love the name. I don’t at all think of it as a name for an animal. It is a cuter name, which is why people like to use it as a pet name, but it’s not as though it has a reputation as a dog’s name.
