I think Eddy Gerard-Robert has a nice flow. I like the hyphen. What about the spelling Eddie?

I would not use Eddy as a formal name. I would use Edward, Edmund, Edwin, Edison, Edsel, or Edgar (a combo or Eddy and Gerald?). Eddy is a great nn, just won’t look that great on a resume for a 25 year old!

I agree...Eddy is a nickname only. Please use a more formal name. And no hyphen! Edward Robert Gerald is great.

I agree that your son would probably appreciate having a formal name to use later in life!

I like Eddy Robert-Gerard the most. And I think that Eddy is a fine name, and if he wants to go by something different he can go by Robert
