Janelle vs. Gabrielle

Janelle is nowhere near as nice as Gabrielle

Gabrielle is really pretty and cute. It has been common for a really long time but it’s not stuck in the past, it’s not weird but not mega-trendy, and it will age well. It is also related to the boy name Gabriel from the bible, making the arch-angel Gabriel a namesake, and putting a long history behind it.
But Janelle seems very dated to me. I don’t really know where it came from, so it doesn’t have the solidity of Gabrielle. It’s not as pretty and it doesn’t sound as nice.
Stick with Gabrielle! Good Luck!

I have never personally liked the name Janelle at all! Plus Gabrielle can have many nicknames!

I like them both.
Prob can find better nn for Gabrielle though.
What are the middle names?
That helps with saying the full name with last name to! Need ur opinion too!! Please vote pg 3 poll with name Shelby. Thanks!!
