Mickaelie Jean vs. Michaylee Jean vs. Mikaylee Jean

I like the name Michaelee but I don’t know how to spell it. I don’t want it to start with Makay because there is a Makayala in my brother in laws family. Which spelling do you prefer? Any Suggestions?

Originally this name was not a Mc/Mak name at all (e.g. McKenzie/Mackenzie,Mackenna/ McKenna). It was actually the female version of the name Michael. Therefore the name’s real spelling for a girl is Michaela.

If you want to make up a similar but different name then I would go with Mikaylee since that may be best for getting the pronunciation you are looking for.

Michaela is much better but if i had to choose one it would be Mikaylee

I know a girl named Michael-Ann., and a girl named Mikhael [mik-hale]

I agree that Mikaylee is the best spelling. [:
