Orlando vs. Landon

I’ve not got many responces, but the ones i did get seem to like Landon better. They said it ages better. What do you think? I’d also really appreciate middle names... Oh, and what type of person do you picture to have these names?

Oops! I forgot to say that Landon is more popular according to the ssa site but I like Orlando partly becuse it’s less commen. Advice is appreciated.

I like Landon. It sounds suave and cool.

Orlando sounds a bit dorkier to me....but I guess that all depends on the person. Orlando Bloom certainly isn’t dorky.

I love Orlando...love the meaning "famous throughout the land." ((My daughter’s name means "full of life" and sure enough - she is soooo fun and adds so much laughter to our family.)) I think he’ll be a confident person. It is a nice and strong name. Good luck!

Oh, sorry but I also need to mention that I absolutely love the nicknames you can derive from Orlando. Especially Orli. So, what do you think of it? I thought it sounded a bit nerdy myself but then I thought that the association with Orlando Bloom that well, people might think its not so dorky. What do you think?

I’m a teacher at the high school level - I teach close to 250 students a semester. I had one Orlando (believe it or not!) - he was not nerdy. He was a mature and kind person. So, that’s my impression of the name Orlando.

I prefer Orlando. It’s different and more attractive imo. I’ve never really cared for Landon.

i much prefer Orlando, Landon is very popular right now and tbh i don’t see the appeal, personally i think that Orlando will age much better than Landon. as for middle names what about
