Sorry, this name keeps popping up and I just can’t stand it!! It just isn’t feminine and evokes a dumb blonde image. Sorry, may sound harsh, but there are so many other beautiful names out there!!

the name is a made up "american" name and does not mean dream or vision since someone just took lynn and ashley and put it together and gave it a "meaning"

Aisling is an old Irish name, and it’s pronounced essentially like Ashley. I would think one could make an argument for them sharing a meaning.

Personally, I don’t care for it. I’m not a fan of the sound of "---lyn" names in general, and Ashley has a very ’80’s,stuck-up cheerleader vibe.

That being said, there are obviously many who like it, as it’s on these polls a lot!
