elaina vs. alaina

do YOU say these names different? Alaina is uh-lane-uh and Elaina is eh-lane-uh or even ee-lane-uh? Or do you say them the same? I also like the way Elena looks, but to me that should be pronounced eh-leen-uh. So confused!

I like Elena pronounced E-len-ah. I pronounce Alaina and Elaina differently.

I say "elaine-uh" and "uh-laine-uh"

I prefer Elaina, but I like names that start with e’s :D

My name is Elaina and I pronounce it the same as Alaina. I think Alaina is the trendy spelling of Elaina.

We named our daughter Elaina. I think it is supposed to be pronounced eh-LANE-uh but when you say it, it comes out uh-LANE-uh. We’ve had this conversation so many times. I think Elaina looks so much prettier than spelled with an A. Anyway, we just call her Lainey. It fits.
