How can this vs. name not age well vs. if other won’t???

We recently decided to use Jaylee or Jaleigh as our daughter’s name. Well, On this site, people say Jaylee won’t age well and can you imagine a lady with the name Jaylee. What is the difference in that and Kaylee, Kailley, Kaleigh which nearly every little girl is named?

Kailey has been around longer with different spellings (ex. Kaili in Finland) while Jaylee is very modern. I know people who go by Kay when they`re older, and I guess Jay would be ok too, but you need a good spelling. Jaylee looks very childish and Jaleigh looks complicated and said `JAL-ee`.

Kaylee doesn’t age well either. Just because Jaylee hasn’t been around doesn’t mean it won’t age well. Look at Zoe. IMO Zoe doesn’t age well either. I like Jaylee spelt Jeley tough. or Jaley. GL!

You shouldn’t worry about that. When we had our son 17 years ago I told my husband "we shouldn’t name him anything like Cory cuz it sounds good for a little guy but can you imagine an 80 yr. old man named Cory?" My husband’s response was "someday there will be an awful lot of old men named Cory and it won’t be weird at all". I understood. But in the end we named him Steven Bruce.
