My husband and I are due with our first baby in January, and we decided we didn’t want to know the gender before the baby was born. We’ve narrowed our list down to five names of each gender, please comment on your favorites, least favorites, and why. If it’s a boy, his mn will be Lee via family tradition, but we haven’t picked for a girl yet. Thank you!

That’s okay if Daniel is your brother’s name..Nothing wrong with being named after or sharing a name with the baby’s uncle.

Jonah Lee is my pick for a boy.
Evelyn Leigh for a girl. Evie is a cute n.n.

I wouldn’t say them sharing a name is a problem. I’m sure your brother would feel incredibly touched. My favourite of your boys names is Elijah.
I must say i’m not too keen on any of your girls names. But my favourites would have to be Evelyn and Rosalie.

My favorite name is Michael Lee for a boy and Leah Rose for a girl. :)
Here’s how I like all the names in ranking order:
1. Michael- strong, classic handsome name
2. Andrew- same as above, don’t care for nn Andy though
3. Elijah- like this name and nn Eli, just not my fav
4. Jonah- cute but I like other Biblical names better (I like Noah better which has become more popular lately)
5. Daniel- I’ve just never really cared for this name, it is a little plain imo. I don’t think it would be a problem naming him after his uncle though.

1. Leah- simple, classy name
2. Anna- pretty
3. Colleen- pretty
4. Rosalie- never really cared for, I prefer Rose much better
5. Evelyn- sounds too old-ladyish imo
