Adalyn Rose vs. Amelia Rose

We are expecting baby #3 this week! We’ve had a tough time choosing a name this time. We THINK we like Adalyn Rose best. I am not sure how I’d like to spell it, though... Adelyn / Adeline / Adalynn / Adalyn I want the name to work well with big sis Olivia Kate and big bro Owen. We so really like the name Amelia Rose. My husband is a pilot so we liked the aviation correlation. give us your opinon, please.

I love both! I won’t be much help since they are both in my top 10! Adalyn is the best spelling if you choose it, plus you can call her Ady, Ada, or Lyn! However, Amelia is so beautiful! You can call her Amy, Mel, Lia...! So many options. I love the mn Rose with Kate, those are in my top 5 for mn!! I THINK I agree with you and like Adalyn best, Amelia is a little too close to Olivia. You have a tough decision to make, GL!

I love Adeline! It’s so beautiful, but I prefer this spelling. To me, it’s much more classic, so it will age well, and doesn’t look so made up. It means ’noble’ too.

I love Amelia! I don’t think its too close to Olivia. The aviation correlation as in Amelia Eckhart? that’s cute.

I love both but Addy is my favorite nn, so I chose Adalyn :)

I chose Amelia because it is beautiful and will not have all the spelling complications Adalyn will produce (people will spell that one wrong all the time).
