I could not tell if Courtney Parker was a boy or girl. Courtney is a unisex name, and Parker is too boyish. Shannon Colette is ok.

Courtney hasn’t been a boys name in over 100 years, LilacFieldsofJoy, what are you talking about? I like Sydney Marie best, flows the best and matches your other kids’.

I know very well what I’m talking about. I know more male Courtney’s than female Courtney’s. I find it much to masculine for a girl.

These were all boy’s names at one point. My favorite is Shannon Colette.

To be honest I HATE the name Courtney. I hate saying i hate the way it sounds I just hate it! You should not name your kid Courtney. To me Shannon sounds a little prissy and old and some what over used. I think Sydney is your best name but I would like it better if you spelled it Sidney! Sidney Marie is a very pretty and girlie name!
