Do you think that we could spell the name Gentry with a "J"? Jentry? It is a tradition in my husbands family to name the boys with "J" names but I LOVE the name Gentry. What do you think? Any other spelling ideas? Please be honest!! Thanks

I guess if the Duggar’s can get by with Jinger for Ginger, then you can get by with Jentry for Gentry. Not a bad name, not really sure what to tell you about the spelling, though, sorry.

I guess that would work, he’ll have it misspelled a lot, but you can deal with that. G/Jentry doesn’t really strike me as a first name though.

I have only known one Jentry, and she was a girl. I guess you could take that 2 ways: 1. It’s a girls name OR 2. It is a real name-spelled with a J-and it’s fair game!
