Malena Dorine vs. Amelie Claira

Hello. My name is Sarah, and my husband is Peter, and we are due to have a baby girl on Thanksgiving! We wanted to combine our grandmothers’ names to make our daughter’s first and middle names, so Marie and Elena became Malena, and Doris and Pearline became Dorine, to make Malena Dorine. However, we also had a combo of our siblings’ names to make Amelie from Amy and Charlie, and Claira from Claire and Anna.

I like Amelie Clara (spelled this way) best. But I really like the name Marlena if you would consider it - and that works well for Marie and Elena. Marley could be a really cute, modern nn?

I think both are unique and have special meaning, so you really won’t go wrong. They’re both very pretty.

Amelie Claira is my favorite. I agree that Clara looks much better. Amelie Claire has an even better ring to it. Malena Dorine is too rhymy for me. GL!
