Ok, Last Poll We Promise!! We really want to use the name Annalyn for our daughter but my DH hates the Annal part just because of "teasing" when she is older. So we were wondering if you thought Annilyn or Annelyn would work? We are going for the pro. of Ann uh lynn. Please help us for we are so close but running out of time. Thanks Again!

Annalyn is fine. It is spelled anal, not annal, so I don’t think she will be teased, especially since you are using the same pronunciation.

I can see youre dilemma but I dont think it will be that big of a deal to use Annalyn. If you’re worried about you can use Anna-Lynn, it still sounds the same.

Annalyn is fine, IMO. If it were Analyn (not sure if this will get deleted), then I`d change the spelling, but Annalyn is fine.

Annalyn would get that pronunciation most easily but Annilyn would work too. Annelyn is NOT pronounced that way. It is pronounced as spelt, exactly as it looks Anne-Lynn. It will always 100% of the time be pronounced long b/c that is its pronunciation. You would have to pronounce it differently than if you spell it that way
