Penelope vs. Juniper / Jupiter? vs. Molly

Molly was my mother’s name. Alright, here’s the explaination for Jupiter -- ever since I’ve been pregnant, I’ve been abnormally large. No, it’s not twins or anything, it’s just that this baby’s a whopper! And so we’ve been calling her Jupiter because she’s so huge. We’ve always considered Juniper, but what about Jupiter? And Penelope is a favorite of mine <3

I think the story behind Jupiter is pretty adorable, but wouldn’t use it for a first name. It would make a great middle name, and she’ll always have a fun story to tell! If you want to go with one of the J names for a first name, Juniper (nn June??) is nice! I do love Molly, that gets my top vote. GL!

I like Juniper nn June! It’s close enough to Jupiter imo. It’s unique, but not weird. Very pretty name. My in utero nn for my son was Bun and Bun man. I kind of wish we had chosen a name with a similar sound something like Brennan, but oh well he will always be my little bun man, LOL. GL!

I think Molly Juniper is a nice sounding name. Jupiter is just a bit too out there for me. Good Luck!

Can’t you just use Jupiter as a family nn and give her a name she can be proud of? Many families have nn for their kids that are not related to their real name.

I have a friend who has a daughter named Juniper Caroline. I love her name. It’s the only time I’ve ever heard the name before. The little girl is called Junie- which I also think is beautiful and she can be called June when she is older, if Junie sounds too young. I just love the name Junie... and juniper trees and bushes are so cool too.
