Scarlett Amelia vs. yes?? why?? vs. no?? why??
I absolutely love the name. But the prob is Scarlett is my sister-in-law’s name. Using it may be weird but what about her going by her middle name? Amelia (mia, lia, mel). Idk. I’m confused about it. Help please?

I would maybe do Amelia Scalett, but I would not give my baby the same name as someone else in the family. We have multiple names in my extended family and it gets really confusing, not to mention ANNOYING! I really like both names, but if you’re going to call her Amelia, why not just name her Amelia? I love that name!

I like the name, but if you think it’s going to be weird bc its your SIL’s name, then I would use Scarlett as the mn. Especially if you are going to call her Amelia anyway. Amelia Scarlett sounds really pretty.

I love Amelia Scarlett- it flows better and my opinion and also solves the dilemma of the sister-in-law. Amelia Scarlett is so classic, beautiful, and timeless. Love the nicknames Mia, Lia, Mel, and Millie.

As others have said, Scarlett Amelia and Amelia Scarlett are equally beautiful. It really depends on you--if you think it would be too weird to give her the same name as your SIL, then call her Amelia Scarlett.
