Noah Joel vs. Joel Jasper

What name is nicer, for a baby boy! Due on Boxing day. I don’t think any f the names are really popular, but I am curious to know, how many people do you know with any of these names (Noah, Joel, Jasper), and do you know any good middle names, that will go with Joel or Noah, if Jasper is used it will only be a middle name!~ Sisters, Natasha, Jasmine and brother Cory-Jay, and my husband Jake, and Louisa (me).

I love Jasper, so that is definately my pick for mn. I like Noah, but it is much more popular than Joel, so depending on how many Noah’s you want in your child’s class, you may prefer to go with Joel (which is also cute)

I know a few kids with the name Noah and none with the name Joel or Jasper. Noah is pretty popular.

I think Noah Jasper sounds the best.
I know 2 boys named Noah and 5 named Joel (plus the kid on Jon+Kate plus 8, if that counts). I don’t know anyone named Jasper though (except the Twilight character).

Noah is slightly more popular, I think, but I like it better with your last name. Noah Wood has a nicer ring to it than Joel Wood. I know 2 boys with the last name Wood who are named Kyle and Cameron, so you could use either of those as a middle name and I think it would sound good: Noah Cameron Wood or Noah Kyle Wood.

I think both Noah and Joel are mildly popular, but nothing to worry about. I like them both, but I prefer Noah, I think because I still associate Joel with the neurotic doctor from Northern Exposure. Of course, people are trying to use Noah as a girls name for some reason, but I wouldn’t worry about that because it has a solid history as a boys name.

I named my boy Noah Joël nine years ago, so I think this is a very nice name.
