If commoness and popularity of names are an issue for you (both of these Lily/Lillian etc and Isabella, Annabella, Bella) and you are looking for a more unique name go to SSA names webiste to see rankings fo US and your state.

I would stay away from Bella... I know this sounds minute, but as a teacher I always look at what kids can be picked on for. If you did Bella her initials would be BO and that is short for body odor! How horrible will it be for her when the kids pick up on that....

I like Bella better. I know it’s popular, but it doesn’t really matter too much. My name is Abby and there are a million people with my name. I still like it.
