I would say Ami... but the first time I saw the name Ami, i thought of the same pron. as Amy.
Ame however is pronounced ah-mey... and is japanese for saying rain or its raining. If you are in america, most people would im guessing think ah-mi or amy

Ahmi is the best option. Even if you correct people, Ami, Amy, Aimee, etc will be said as Amy typically is. If you want it said ahh-me, you need an h in it.

I know a lot of Amy’s who use different spellings - Aimee, Amee, Ami, etc. The one I’ve never seen used for an Amy is Amie - I’ve asked around and my family and friends all agree that they’d pronounce it Ah-mi. Hope that helps :)
