I think it depends on the last name. Kingston is a nice alternative that might flow more easily.

I like the suggestion of Kingston, or Kingsley (but that may come off as a trendy girls name)
I like it as a MN personally... but re are some names to go with it

I agree that Kingston or Kingsley would be better alternatives, and you can call him King.
