I do think they’re a little too close.
I know brothers named Carson Michael and Christian Ray, Christian Stephen sounds great too!

I like both names separately, but not together. I just think they are too similar. Personally I prefer avoiding same letters and similar sounds between children---especially twins---just my preference. At most, I’d go with two C’s, but not start both with "car." Of the two, I like Carson better. Carter has political associations because of President Carter...

my neighbor has a boy/girl sibset carson & camryn and i even think those names are too close, but better than carson and carter.
