I love that movie too! Personally, I think the -ie makes it sound very juvenile. It would be cute when she is young but then it doesn’t go anywhere. How about just Jove?

I don’t care for it. When watching Elf, I’ve always though that was a weird name. I like it better as a nn for a name like Jovana or something like that. Jovie doesn’t seem like it will age well. GL!

How about Jolie (it sounds similar, its very cute, and means pretty in french).
I also agree that Jovana is a better option and use the nn Jovie.
