Nyasia Lynn vs. ????

My niece is due to have her 1st baby a little girl March 15th. She has picked out this name. I personally love it but others in our family are giving her crap about it. I thought maybe getting some others opinions on this name would help to either ease her mind or change it. Thanks

I personally don’t like it... but it makes me sad when I hear of people choosing a name and then getting such a hard time about it. That’s one reason we don’t tell anyone, except strangers, until the baby arrives!

Ditto ^pp. We never tell anyone our baby names until they meet "Our Bundle of Joy". Everyone always has an opinion and you spend the next 9 months with people telling you ideas of names they love. I’m not sure how to pn this name- I think its ok-just ok.

I think it’s a made-up name that will not age well sorry, I just think putting it on a resume will not help her but hurt her. How do you pronounce it? Ny-ay-"je" or Nice-ah or Nee-ay-cee-ah? How about Natalee or just Asia?

Ultimately...it’s the mom’s choice, not the family. Whatever the name the baby will definately be loved! It’s the person who makes the name-not the name who makes the person! GL If your cousin likes it- I’m currently preggo w/ #4..I can tell you I’m sure she’s earned the right to name her bundle, whatever she wants. :)

this is about my sister’s baby i love the name and i know that samantha will choose the right name for the baby and i know that she did its been a year almost and its the most original name i have heard and it is not a made up name
