Imagine vs. crazy vs. awesome

My husband wants us to name our little girl Imagine. I like the sound of it but I dont know if this is just one of those words that should remain a word or if its pretty in the way that Melody is pretty. If you do not like it are their any names that you think that he may like. Unusual is his style. Thanks!

I am a bit wary of Imagine as a first name. I think it is just too common a word to translate across into a name.
What about Imogen? Imagine is pronounced EE - MA - GIN and Imogen is EE - MO - GIN. Very similar, don’t you think?

I would only use it as the middle name. It’s a little too odd and asks for teasing. Not fair to the child. Claire Imagine

No, it is Not a good name.
It is a stripper name.

Here is a little rule: If it sounds like it might be the name of someone on Rock of Love, Jerry Springer, or pretty much anything on E, then no..it is Not a good name.

Does he like any of these? Dreama is the only name I know that is fairly close to Imagine. (and yes I did know a girl named this many years ago)
