MYLA vs. EVE vs. SOFIA

My husband and I really like all three of these names. Not sure about Eve. . . Does it sound complete on it’s own? Considering Evelyn and calling her Eve. Which name do you prefer? MN suggestions (we’re terrible at creating fluent combos)?

I love Eve Anastasia.. but Eve Sofia would be fine too

I like Myla Sofia. I’m not sure that I would want to use Sofia as a first name because it was on the top ten list (I think it was number 4 or close to that) of most popular girls names for 2009. So if you don’t want your child to have the same name as a lot of their classmates and friends someday in school, I would avoid Sofia. If that doesn’t bother you..then I do think it is a cute name but Myla is my favorite. Eve is ok. Evelyn is a very old name. If you do not like Myla Sofia then what about Myla Grace?

I would do Eve on it’s own, I think Evie is the natural nickname for Evelyn Ev-el-in, unless you pronounce it Eve-lin, then Eve would work

I like Eve Sofia, Eden Sofia, Sofia Eve, Kyla Eve or Myla Eden

Great suggestions!! Eden has actually been one of my favorite names for a long time, but I just found out my friend is giving that name to her baby girl in May. I’m a bit disappointed and trying to find something I love just as much. . . It’s tough. You don’t think it’s appropriate for friends to have daughters with the same name do you??

if she’s your best friend in the whole world, you probably can’t use it (or family it’s out) but if she’s just a friend you see every once in a while then I think it’s totally fine to use it, it’s one of my favorite names too! or, use it as a middle name!

I love Eve on it’s own. She was the first woman in the world you know she wasn’t Evelyn nn Eve. I think Eve is darling I have an Eve Ruthann (after my Nana) she’s 2 months:)
