nickname vs. for vs. Beckett
I am the nanny for a family [removed]cently welcomed another little boy, named Beckett, into the family. I’d like some thoughts on a nickname for him, other than Beck, as his mother said she didn’t want Beck - but the father is going to use it. Beckett is so very harsh and odd to say, especially for a baby. His eldest brother even said it sounded like Bucket. I can’t say this everyday, all day. Any ideas?

The removed words are "[removed]cently." His middle name is Yukio and I was thinking maybe I could call him Yuki (meaning Snow, which if you live near me, you’ve seen enough of this month). His eldest brother goes by his middle name.

Yuki is cute...other nn’s seem to come on their own not even related to their name. My little brother was "Chief" for the longest time and now we call him "Bear". My dog’s name is Lucy and we usually just call her "Goose" lol. So whatever cute thing that reminds you of him would work. GL!
