Anthea Scarlett vs. Scarlett Anthea vs. Thea Scarlett

Hi, I posted before about our daughters name but didn’t get a lot of responses. From the few we did get, everyone didn’t really like the name Anthea. We still love it but we are also considering Thea and Scarlett. Which combo do you like best? Big bro is Ralph (Rafe) Anthony. Thanks, Joe and Nadine.

I think Thea Scarlett is better, as Anthea Scarlett/Scarlett Anthea are both complex names. Thea is simpler and goes with Scarlett.

I like Thea Scarlett the best. I’m not quite sure how to pronounce Anthea (AN-thea or an-THEA?). Either way, I don’t really like it that much. Thea sounds much better. Good luck!

Yeah, Anthea has the same "where-do-you-put-the-emphasis" problem that Andrea does, but it gets even harder because when you read it your mind first sees "Ant" and then gets confused. It’s also awfully close to bro’s "Anthony". I think Thea is your better bet. You might also consider Tia, Anya, or Anika.

Something "Greek" is better than something trendy and misspelled any day! Scarlett gets my vote. I thought Anthea said Athena, which I definitely prefer. Watch out though, it is "Greek"!!

I love Thea with Ralph. They are both short, vintage, unique names. Thea Scarlett is gorgeous. However, if you really like Anthea, go for it. It is pretty too andyou could always call her Thea for short.
