Maisey vs. Yes vs. No
We love the name Maisey, but I am worried it is a young persons name. I was thinking when she was older she could be called Mai. Older sister is Florence. Thanks.

I love it. I’d spell it Maisie though.

Maisie is a nn for Margaret. Margaret goes PERFECTLY with Florence!! Just nn her Maisie. She could also go by Maggie. :)

I know a Maisie who is around 30 years old. Her name isn’t short for anything and I think it fits her well. I like it.

Yes, I think if we called her Maisie -(you all seem to like this spelling over Maisey), she wouldn’t be Margaret. I have a terrible aunt called Margaret, and its ruined that name for me!

Maisie is actually a nn for Mairead (which is a Gaelic variant of Margaret).

i like maisie or mairead. margaret means pearl. you could go with pearl. it is older and underused anymore. however, that being said, maisie is perfectly lovely! good luck!

i like Maisey, i much prefer the spelling Maisie too, but i don’t think it will age well, although it does go well with Florence, i also think Pearl is a good idea, you could also do Megan/Meghan which is of similar roots to Maisie and Margaret, meaning pearl
