Morrigan Skye vs. Morrigan Gwyneth vs. Morrigan Isolde

Okay, i know i have already made a poll but someone pointed out the name Isolde and i also found that Morrigan means "Great Queen" and Gwyneth means "white, Fair, Blessed" and it kind of went with the first name but i am so crazy about Isolde. Should i just call my daughter Morrigan Gwyneth Isolde O’Callaghan? I know that most of you will say three really long names is enough but i’m really old fashioned and creative so please don’t yell at me.

To my Morrigan looks/sounds like someone messed up the name Morgan. I could see some potential confusion and major spelling errors throughout her life. Gwyneth Skye sounds nice though. Genevieve Skye or Genevieve Isolde would also be nice.

i’m not changing the first name but yes i have considered Genevieve, it is pretty too but i like Morrigan better. Thank you, i have been waiting for hours voting on other peoples polls for someone to comment.

Morrigan Gwyneth sounds best to me. Skye seems too short and Isolde isn’t very pretty IMO.

With the unusual name of Morrigan that she will probably have to help people spell and pronounce her whole life, I think it would be better to give her a more mainstream middle name. With Isolde, she would have two names to spell and pronounce for people. I voted for Skye. It is very pretty and more mainstream, which will be better paired with Morrigan.

Um, i’m not trying to mainstream.

Follow what you love. Morrigan sounds lovely, feminine but not frilly, it reminds me of a Celtic mystical creature or something. Gwyneth and Isolde both have a similar feel and will age well. To me Skye is okay but seems more trendy. I like your suggestion of using both Gwyneth and Isolde as mn. It is rather long but most of the time no one gets called by all theie names. And usually names that end with the same sound don’t flow, but Morrigan and O’Callaghan has a pretty flow.

Good luck and good on you for not naming your kid something like Addicyn/Emalee or any other of those tryndee names.

I think Morrigan Gwyneth O’Callaghan is very pretty. (I am the poster who made the "mainstream" comment. I just meant it would be good for her to have one name that she would not need to spell or pronounce for people.) I think everyone will know how to pronounce Gwyneth. I think Morrigan and Gwyneth complement each other and flow very well. Good choice! Very pretty!

NO NO NO NO!!!! Do NOT do that to her! That long name I wont even type M G I O’C is absolutely horrid. I’m sorry but....Why would you even consider it?

Thank you all, except the person who says i’m doing something terrible to my baby. Who the hell do you think you are?

Alas, no matter what people do we all have to spell out our names, i had to spell out my horrible old Maiden name that i hated so much ’Bingler’ ugh i hated it. I legally changed it to O’del and then i married my husband, O’Callaghan and he really likes Morrigan and so do i, but i wanted to use Gwyneth so it just worked out that way.
