Cadence vs. Adelyn

My Husband and I are stuck on these two names. Been stuck for quiet awhile now. It’s really bad! I know everyone has different opinions, but I like to gather as many opinions as possible. Please pick your favorite and tell why you would choose the name. Why you wouldn’t choose the name. Our baby is due in August, I realize I have plenty of time. But, I would love to make a final decision. Also, I think I’m helping another person who put a poll on here, with the same exact names. Thanks!

I definitely prefer Cadence. I have heard of many Addie’s running around and I’m kind of sick of it now. I’m not really a fan of trendy names so that is why I’m not liking Adelyn. But I think the spelling Adeline (depending on pronunciation) looks less trendy. Cadence is quiet trendy too but I think it will age better than Adelyn. GL!

I’ve always liked Cadence, because it’s musical which I am too. But I like Adelyn even more. It’s similar to the more popular Addison, but a little more unique. So, I don’t think I’m being helpful because I like them both, but if I was choosing between them I would go with Adelyn.

I like Adalyn a little bit better I think but I like them both and don’t think you can do wrong with either!

I love them both - both have good nn possiblities....Cadee and Addie. These would be great sibling names! I would reserve one for possible future daughter(s).

Cadence is beautiful and Adelyn is classic....I have nothing critical of either name.

I LOVE Adelyn. It’s gorgeous, classy, the nn Addie is darling, and it ages well IMO. Not a fan of Cadence at all sorry!
