I think that Sylar is a really unique name and you could use it for either a boy or a girl, although it would be really cute to name a girl Sylar Jane or Sylar Rose

It works equally well as a boys name as a derrivative from Tyler. A middle name would depend on the length and sounds of the surname - ?? I’m not very good with names but a few of my favorites at the moment are Logan, Darcy, Cooper, Brock and Levi.

If Sylar is a derivative of Tyler then is Pooper a derivative of Cooper? Crock a derivative of Brock? I didn’t realize just throwing a different sound onto the front of a name made it in turn a usable name...

We named our daughter Sylar Olivia! It is cross name between Sydney and Tyler! Can go either boy or girl!
