Esther nn Essie vs. Ruth vs. Delilah
My husband does not like the name Delilah because of that song that was "overplayed" on the radio. I, however, love it, so it is still one of our top three. He loves the name Ruth, which I am not too fond of, but because Delilah stays, Ruth stays. We both like Esther, nn Essie. We needs help thinking of middle names.

I like Delilah best. Esther and Ruth seem more dated to me. However, if that’s what you both like, I say use it.

Aw, I love that song! But it won’t be around forever--that’s an awfully short-sighted view to take on a name. Delilah is my favorite name. I’ve never liked Esther or Ruth, and Delilah has tons of nickname options.

Ruth James is way too short. Esther is not pretty, and the nickname Essie is really silly (unless you’re obsessed with nail polish, I suppose?). Delilah is a great name, and it’s not like that song is going to become notable, like "Sweet Caroline," or "Roxanne" or songs like that!
