Emmeline vs. Emmalyn vs. Emmy
We absolutly love all three, and can’t decide which one we should use. How would you pronounce Emmeline? Is the correct pronounciation Em-uh-leen, Em-uh-line? We like both but don’t want to correct people all the time. Emmy is a name we would most likely call her anyways, so should we just name her that instead of using it as a nn? Thanks for your help

If its spelled Emmeline I tend to pronounce it Emma-leen, Emmalyn I pronounce emma-lynn. I really like Emmaline (pn emma-leen) nn Emmy! Good luck

I think it be best to use Emmalyn so it would get mispronounced. I want to name my daughter Madeline (pronounced lyn not line), but this pronunciation deal is crazy.

Just name her Emma and call her Emmy! Emmeline and Emmalyn are both trendy and fussy, and Emmy is a nickname--too cutesy for a name to give a child who will grow into an ADULT and spend most of her life as an adult.
