Matilda nn Mattie vs. Matilda nn Tilly

Matilda needs a middle name ... and a nickname! I’m going this alone, so the choice is up to me. I love Matilda, so her first name is set. I thought Mattie would be cute, but my only issue with that is that I have a close friend named Matt. Does that matter? Also, I thought Tilly would be a cute nn, but it’s a little different, so some suggestions/opinions would be appreciated! Thanks! - Carmen

I love the name Matilda and I think the nn Tilly is precious.
