Kyla vs. Alaina
Before we try to find a first name we’re trying to pick the middle name that we’re for sure going to use. Kyla would be to honor my husband’s dad Kyle and Alaina (We want it pronounce ah-lane-uh.) to honor my father, Laney. We can’t use Delaney though. Which is best? Other suggestions are welcome too. We couldn’t come up with a middle name to honor Robin, Douglas, or Lisa.

I love Kyla (nn Kylie)! As for a middle name, I would honor your dad and name her Layne or Alayne. Kyla Alaina is a bit of a mouthful, but Kyla Laine or Layne is perfect!
