Madelyn (Maddie) Pauleen vs. Elliot (Ellie) Catherine vs. Roxanne (Roxy) Bridget

I am due in 5 days and suddenly having second thoughts about the names I picked out for my triplets. They are all girls and I would love opinions on the names. We tried to find names that worked well together and the middle names are family names we used and shouldn’t be changed. Also, anyone with multiples, how did you name them when they were born? Did you do the first born gets the first name alphabetically or just whichever name of the 3 popped into your head for each girl? Thanks!

I don’t think Elliot goes with the other two. Madelyn and Roxanne are no doubt girl names, and Elliot is a boy name and should stay that way. I think Madison was a good suggestion.

If you want to keep the nickname Ellie, what about Eleanor, Ellen, Elaina, Elisy/Elyse, Elizabeth, Ella, Estelle, Stella... I just don’t think Elliot would work with the other names. She would feel like an outcast with a boy name, while her sisters have very girly names.

I’d replace Elliot with Eliza. You can still use Ellie, and it fits better with the others. Congrats and good luck with your beautiful girls!

All three are beautiful names, but I have to agree with Lilah, Elliot is more of a boys name. If you still want to use the nickname Ellie, you can try the name Elinore. It still goes nicely with Catherine. Best of luck with your triplets!

Well I don’t really know about the names..
I am having twins and it is a boy and girl so not much of a name problem. We had decided if they were the same gender that it was the alphabet deciding. We also talked about not naming them but look at them and interact with them for a couple of days and then see which name fitted their personality.

Elise could replace elliot. but spelled this way Ellesse is much prettier and lends itself to an ellie nickname better.

I might also switch the middle names to Madelyn Bridget and Roxanne Pauleen.

GL and kudos to you for not giving them theme names, same first initial, or rhyming names. They’ll really appreciate it!
