Kaia or Kaya vs. Ruby or Rubie

I had Rubie/Ruby picked out for my daughter, but then I saw Kaia on here a few days ago and thought it was really pretty also. Now I am torn! I have a 3 year old son, Donovan Blake.

i prefer Rubie, or Rubi. obviously Ruby is pretty too, but common, Kaia/Kaya is okay

I like Ruby this spelling only. The other ones look "too cute" and I think this will age better.. As for Ruby or Kaia, this is difficult I agree! I prefer the name Ruby as a whole, but they both fit very nicely with your sons handsome name :) Ruby Kaia and Kaia Ruby make very nice combos!

Kaia is becoming pretty popular, on this website anyway. Ruby/Rubie is refreshing to hear. It’s a cute name that will age very well! Both names are very pretty though.

Love the name Kaia. I have also seen it spelled Kiah or Kyah. I think people would tend to say Kay-uh if you spell it Kaya.

I’ve seen it spelled Kiyah. Ruby fits well with Donovan IF spelled with a y, otherwise it looks to trendy or cutesy compared to Donovan. Kaia in any spelling is also nice, and prefer them all to Rubie, but not Ruby.

I like both names a lot, but I think Ruby fits in best with Donovan. I like Ruby spelling only. I think it will age better and the other spellings don’t make the name anymore unique, just the wrong spelling imo. GL

Kaia is adorable, and more unique then Kaya, the spelling Kaya looks ugly. Ruby is just too common. ~Maya-Eloise

My name is Ava and my sisters name is Kaya…everyone on the app is saying these names are ugly :( i guess my parents picked ugly names 🤷‍♀️
