I love love love Temperance and Gemma! I also might suggest Geneva, Lillias, and Portia.
I think that I pick Temperance because I hear it less than Gemma, but they are beautiful, and Gemma Temperance would make a stunning combo! I’m afraid I don’t like Emerson.. The unisex name thing is not really my style, and I don’t like darling girls with names that mean "son of.."

Gemma
Tempereance
Emerson - sounds very masculine and I don’t even like it on a boy.

Emerson is my favorite off of your list
Gemma would be second. Don/t care for Temperance at all. Plus no good nn’s with it either.

please don’t use Emerson, I am trying to take it back to the boy’s side! with the exception of Allison, I, too, think all -son names should be for SONs. I like Gemma, Emmaline. try Fiona, Daphne, Cordelia for less common, unique, but not unheard of names.

Emerson is a great name! Lots of cute nn options with it too! Emme, Emma, Emery, etc... Emerson Violet would be cute! You could even nn her Evie then(her initials). Gemma is also cute. I don’t like names that are words like Temperance, Patience, etc...

I’m not sure what the big deal is about Emerson ending in -son. Its a cute name and according to the social security website is much more widely used for girls these days that boys. This site is gender neutral negitive for some reason. Its a great name!

Emerson isn’t unique, it goes right along with the "boy name on girls" trend.

Gemma is beautiful.

Gemma - hands down! Temperance isn’t bad, and to be honest, I really don’t see the appeal to Emerson. Sorry.

I think we are going to go with Gemma for a first name, but not sure about her middle name.

I named my first daughter Jemma Elyse. So of course I really like Gemma. I just spelled it w/ a J b/c her Dad’s initials are J.E. I’ve never heard Temperance and I like it, too!

Temperance is magnificent...and why would you need a nickname? If you really wanted one, there’s Perri, but...it’s beautiful by itself. It’s uncommon and classic.
Gemma would be my second-choice. I don’t like Emerson AT ALL on a girl. It’s too masculine, and it’s much more common than the others.
