Rylan Summer vs. Callie Summer

Hi! My hubby and I are having our first child and its a girl! We like the idea of a unisex name for her and so we narrowed it down to Rylan. My mother-in-law gave us the idea of Callie since we live in California. We still love Rylan but we like Callie too. I know a bunch of people don’t like unisex names so please be easy on it. Thanks a bunch! ~ Zach and Amanda

Rylan is cute! Still unisex, but I couldn’t picture it on a boy. It will age better than Callie too!

I love unisex names - my daughters name is Rylee.

I much prefer Rylan over Callie. I don’t really care for the name and the it being short for California is a little cheesy to me.

I like both but Callie with Summer isn’t right, kind of like you’re naming her after someone’s summer vacation.

What about Rhian? pn ree-an.

Callie is too much of a nick name for me.

i don’t like the idea of unisex names just bcuz there are so many more options for girls names out there than boys and when you start naming girls boys names that narrows down the boys names to zilch.
but even if that weren’t the case callie is cuter! ;)
