Modern vs. Double first name vs. ???

Hello! I need some help. I love the idea of a double first name. However, I have a tough time coming up with ones that don’t sound like they’re from the back in the day (eg: Mary-Beth). Also, would you use a hypen to join the names or leave them separately? And what about a middle name? I’m stumped. Any ideas? Thank you! ~Gina

I would not use a hyphen I would just put them together and maybe capitalize the letter of the second name or just leave them separate. I have a sister named TeriLyne but she has only ever gone by Teri.

These are all people I know:

LeighAnn
SheraLee
ClaraMae
Rose Anne
Hannah Rae
LauraLee

I think a hyphen is okay, but maybe not for legal documents, just to make it easier..

Some suggestions are:
Anna-Sophia
Mary-Kate
Molly-Jane
Ella-Rose
Leah-Jane
Sydney-Rose
Mary-Elise
Mary-Alice

Definitely just space them - hyphens look messy and unnecessary and are irritating on paperwork.
Some of my favorite "doubles": (I usually think two syllable first name, one syllable middle name sounds best, but there are exceptions)
Mary Claire
Emma Kate
Ruby Claire
Ruby Kate
Stella Kate
Zoe Claire
Mary Alice (one of my favorites- it’s my exception =P)
Allie Rose
Sophie Claire
Ella Kate
Ella May
Hayley June (cute, original)
Louisa Jane
Emily Rae
Sarah Jane
Sarah Kate
Julie Kate
Bridget May
Amy Claire
Amy Jade
Chloe Hannah

Liking any so far, at all?

I would use a hyphen, or they will end up getting called by only the first name a lot of the time. (I have a friend named Anna Rose Louisa Marker- first name Anna Rose- and she gets called just Anna all the time and hates it because its not her name.) Some more modern ones:
Chloe-Grace
Lucy-Belle
Eva-Claire
Gemma-Rose
Clara-Belle
Lily-Rose
Hadley-Claire
Nina-Hope
Erin-Maeve
Molly-Fleur
Nora-Lianne
Lola-Colette
Kendall-Violet
Sadie-Lucia
Tessa-Nell
Bella-Grace
Gia-Pearl
Ava-Grace
Lila-Mae
Luna-Rose
Carly-Joy
Kaia-Joy
Piper-Rose
Bella-Joy
Nina-Joy
Eleni-Rose
Ava-Joelle
