Ruth Isabella vs. Ruth Annabella vs. Ruth Olivia

or Ruth Amelia? Ruth is honouring my mother (it was her middle name) who passed away three months ago. We know it’s a little dated but we are in love with it and want to use it as a first name. What nicknames could we call her? Ruthie? Rudie? Roo? Our sons are George Isaac, 5 and William James, 3. Our daughter is Elsa Lillian, 3. Does Ruth go with George, William and Elsa? Opinions and suggestions please! Thanks, Tony, Chris, George, Liam, Elsie and baby Ruth.

I likeRuth annabelle or Ruth Isabelle not isabella. But not the nicknames rudie or roo :S

I see you liek the more traditional style names but I’mnot the biggest fan of the name Ruth. Not sure if you liek it buti think Harriet is a nice optionadn still keeps withing your style.

Harriette / harriet withany of the middle name would work wonderfully but my favourite would eb Harriette Isabella

Ruth Olivia flows the best. We have a great niece (or is it grand niece?) who is 9 named Ruthie Eden. I didn’t realize for a couple years that her given name was Ruthie and not Ruth. I think it’s a nice name and a fine way to honor your mother. Your daughter will be proud to have a name that means so much to you.
