K vs. No k

My first two children have a k name but I don’t like any other k names for our third. Is it bad to not give the 3rd a k name too?will they feel left out?

lol, no. I really couldn’t care less that my name doesn’t match my sibblings. Now, MAYBE if you had 3 kids and THEY all had K names, and the 4th kid didn’t, than maybe they might feel a little left out. But just two? Nah. Plus, do you really want KKK kids? maybe do a K middle name, and then they can still have that K connection if it makes you feel better.

I would stick with the K. I wouldn’t have liked to have been left out of a naming trend that all my siblings had. What are your childrens K names and maybe we can suggest some that you haven’t come across yet for your third?

personally, I’ve always thought that whole families with names starting with the same letter is a little tacky. and 19 kids and counting and the Kardashians or whoever haven’t helped my opinion there a whole lot. Name your kid a name that you love, and if it starts with K then fine, if it doesn’t then GOOD.

If you don’t like any other K names, then don’t go with K. You def don’t want to name your child something you hate. But I have some K suggestions.

Boy
Kyler
Kane
Kesten
Kendell

Girl
Kayley (several diff spellings)
Kestyn (unisex)
Kendyll (also unisex)
Kylie (several diff spellings out there)

just a few suggestions. good luck!

I’m one of 6 kids. I was saying prayers one night before bed and said aloud, "God bless Daddy, God bless Mommy..." and so on through the names of my siblings and then my own name. It hit me for the first time that my 3 sisters’ names ended in the -ee sound and mine did not. My older brother was called Kenny, though his given name was Kenneth. The next day I told my mom about it and to this day she claims I felt left out. Funny thing is, I didn’t feel left out at all, I just happened to notice a pattern. What I really didn’t like, though, is that my younger sister was named Lori, so if people just knew the two of us, they’d assume that all the siblings in the family started with an L. To me, doing that just to follow a pattern is utterly ridiculous.

Well stick with the Ks in my family my younger sister and I started with an A then our parents didn’t like any other A names and named our youngest sister with a L name. She is now 30 and still talks about not having an A name. What about a letter that your name our your husbands name starts with
