Walon vs. yes vs. no

My hubby absolutely LOVES the name Walon for our son, but it reminds me of a whale sound, wdyt? Is it really as bad as I think it is or am I just overacting?

I’d spell it Waylon. It doesn’t remind me of a whale. I say go for it!

Never have liked this name but it is even worse with this spelling! If you use it go with Waylon!

Waylon is way better--like Waylon Jennings.

If it’s Walon--then that just looks & sounds silly, Wallace would be much cuter

Wallon/Wallen pn "wall-un" like the famous Wallen Pond where Emerson and Thoreau studied (famous ppl from history)

Waylon/Waylen pn "way-lon"

Walon is confusing..
and either way.. it makes me think of the disney movie "Wall-E" mixed with Sara "Palin" sorry:(
