Go for Gwendoyln vs. Gwyneth vs. Guinevere
Our daughter Evelyn is going to be a big sister! We love her name and call her both Evelyn and Evie (sounds like Heavy not Stevie) equally. We are both in love with the name Gwendolyn and would love to call her both Gwendolyn and Gwen (or Gwennie). I am big on having a longer first name that can have a nickname stem from it rather than just Gwen. The issue: Evelyn and Gwendolyn. We are divided on the other Gwen options of Gwyneth (I think "Paltrow") and Guinevere (dad doesn’t like) as we really love Gwendolyn but I JUST can’t get past the rhyming issue. Please help!
The Top Baby Name is...

Gwyneth nn Gwen is my favorite out of the three. It sounds the best, is the classiest, will age the best and doesn’t give a shakespeare/ middle ages vibe. Plus if she ever wants to go by her first name (like as an adult or a professional) Gwyneth sounds the best and won’t be questioned and will flow perfectly.

I say go with Gwendolyn if that is the name you really love! I personally prefer Gwyneth, but Gwendolyn is darling. I don’t think Evelyn and Gwendolyn rhyme that much...I think they sound great together. Good luck!

I love Guinevere, it’s one of my favorite names =) Now if you really love Gwendolyn then you should go with it. They do rhyme, but not like Carrie and Sherry. I didn’t want to give my kids names that started with the same letter, but both my girls names start with ’s’. I loved the names so much I had to put the same letter thing aside.
