WDYT of vs. the name vs. Melanie?
I made a list a while ago of all kinds of girl names on it, Melanie was one of them. I like it but I’m not in love with it but out of the, what felt like, thousands of names I picked out he fell in love with this one. Do I go with it? I get so many mixed reactions. Honest opinions please.

I honestly think Melanie was ok in the 80’s..not a fan..what about "Maci" instead! A little more trendy!

My name is Melanie... I’m 24. I loved my name growing up. I rarely run into anyone of any age with my name, but I think it’s a very pretty name. I don’t feel it’s dated/old. It’s a name I’ve always been proud to have.

Melodey and Melanie are beautiful names.. Melodey is more moderen and nn could be Mel or Dee

I don’t think it’s dated. It’s a classic. Very pretty and underused now. Go for it! Laney or Mel are cute nn’s.
