’Salem Timothy’ is the best one in my opinion. ’Salem’ is an abbreviation for the place ’Jerusalem’, so people may think that the full name is ’Jerusalem’.

Salem immediately makes me say, "Witch trials."

Really notorious event in American history.

I know there is rampant ignorance about everything on this site, but Most people irl would think of witches and witch trials with this name.

Rethink it, or at least do some Googling.

Salem Timothy flows the best! Very nice, interesting choice! And, yes, everyone has heard of Salem, but I don’t like this idea that a name can be completely destroyed by a negative event. Of course, be aware of it, and explain it to the child once he’s old enough, but I don’t see it as a reason not to use Salem.
