The name I didn’t use...Charlotte Emily

Why: My husband couldn’t get over the fact that Charlotte is the name of the spider in Charlotte’s Web. Silly but he couldn’t get over it.

Instead we will use Erin Abigail.

I wanted to use the name Rita. I love the actress Rita Hayworth. We didn’t because it freaked my husband out. Lol. He said it reminded him of his least favorite actor of all time Orson Welles... So we ended up naming her Rebecca. (What he doesn’t know is Rebecca is the name of Rita and Orson’s daughter lol) And YES things have been tense. Wowza.

We were going to go with Benjamin Russell if we had a boy, but then someone on here pointed out a very huge problem with it. Our last name is Dover - Benjamin Dover - Ben Dover (bend over!). Wow. We changed it to Alexander Russell Dover, but didn’t get to use that even because we ended up having a girl - Kaylee Faith.

We both really wanted Isabella but didn’t want people to think we were jumping on the Twilight bandwagon.

we decided to go with a family name Amalia (molly for short) and we love that even better, and our girl is totally a Molly!

I liked both Aaron and Jonathan, but my husband has a cousin named Aaron (with the same last name) and I have a cousin named Jonathan. Luckily, I love the name Adam and got to use it.

I thought Allegra and Francesca would be cute if a little unusual for my twins but DH thought I was crazy. Also, the allergy med Allegra came out right around then. :o( Instead, we have Naomi & Susanna. :o)

My top two names were Charlotte Adele and Cora Violet. However, my no-imagination husband could only be brought on-board for Charlotte Elora (as Elora relates to my middle name...). So, I’m happy with the name we’re using, but Cora Violet isn’t completely out of the picture--it will be coming back if we have another girl! :)
