Hm, yeah it does sound funny. If you say it a lot or fast it sounds like Tan yer/your But er or Tan yer/your Butter.

I think Tanner Butler is fine, but if you think you need names with out the ’er’ on the end, here are a few:

I like how the name sounds, but the Tan Butt thing would be really bad if kids figured that out.
